Who are your biggest influencers and mentors personally & professionally and why? One of my biggest mentors is Fabrice Verger of F&B restaurant. I once worked for him. He has supported me on this journey.
3 things that we should know about you? I once sold candles, hoping to out sell Yankee Candle Co. I also worked as a dishwasher in my early days. My two children are the most important people in my life.
What fuels your drive? I love taking risks. I always strive for excellence.
What exciting project are you working on? It’s taken nearly a year longer than we planned but our new Little Alley Steak in Buckhead opened on Memorial Day.
Your mantra? I live by the phrase, hope for the Best, but expect the Worst. So many people told me I was crazy to open another steak house in Buckhead in a space that didn’t fare well not once but twice. This philosophy has pushed us (partner Fiket Kovak) to take risks. Taking risks has allowed us to be successful. We have a lot of drive and are passionate people.

What do you do for fun? I love spending time with my kids, going out to dinner (when I get a day off) with friends and driving fast cars.
What legacy do you want to leave behind? I’ve taught my children to always be kind and treat others with respect. They also know the importance of giving back. It truly is the best feeling.
