Who are your biggest influencers and mentors personally & professionally and why? My biggest influencer is Sara Blakely. She is self-made and does not take “no” for an answer. I am naturally reserved and shy, so I truly admire the fact that she is not. She inspires me to want more for myself and my company. You know how people want to meet Beyoncé and other celebrities…I want to meet Sara Blakely!
What fuels your drive? My daughters! My goal is for my company to outlive me. I want them to know that despite the limitations society places on women, we can still fulfil our dreams. No glass ceilings here!
Your mantra? “There’s No Time, Only Opportunity" by my father, Ade Ademola
Apple or Samsung why? Apple! I love how all my devices can be synced and connected.
5 Favorite skin care products & fragrance by Dior that you enjoy using? My favorite Dior fragrance growing up was Jadore. My mother wore it and I always feel a sense of nostalgia when I smell it. Currently, my favorite Dior fragrance is Miss Dior.
What do you do for fun? Honestly, I have the most fun when I’m goofing off with my kids. You will often see instastory videos of us singing and dancing or playing around with Snapchat filters.
What legacy do you want to leave behind? That a woman who had always been unsure of herself was able to overcome her fears and do things beyond her wildest dreams. From my philanthropic involvement with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to building a company on my own.
